FIGHTING PIRATE MARCHING BAND
Final Marching Camp Performance at Camp Fa Ho Lo in Grass Lake
Friday, August 25th, at 6 pm
Performance on the Recreation Field if the weather permits (otherwise go to Tabernacle)
The Fighting Pirate Marching Band lights up Pirate Field with pre-game and half-time shows at all home football games. They are an active part of the community, performing at annual Memorial Day Parades, Homecoming Parades and the culmination of marching season, "Band-O-Rama," held in Pinckney's Jane Tasch Theater. The marching band, 125 strong, is a fusion of all three High School Instrumental Ensembles. The student leaders (Drum Majors, Section Leaders, Rank Ends and Band Staff) are selected in the spring, and are active in the programming, design, and coordination of the field show for the following season. As members of the Fighting Pirate Marching Band, students strive for personal musical achievement, group camaraderie and pride in their school and their community.
